Can the Aarke Glass Bottle Pro be used with Carbonator 3?

No. The glass bottle is designed to be used solely with the Carbonator Pro. The glass bottle is not compatible with Carbonator 3. The reason is that any product involving the use of gas and pressure systems in combination with glass, requires a chamber covering the glass bottle during the carbonation process. The Carbonator 3 does not have a chamber (since it is not necessary for a sparkling water makers developed for a PET bottle). A glass bottle should never be used in the Carbonator 3.

Does the Carbonator need electricity to work?

No outlet needed – all Aarke carbonators are cordless and electricity-free.

Is there any way to increase the level of carbonation in my water?

You can pump the lever an unlimited number of times to achieve more carbonated water. We recommend 1-3 pumps for best carbonation results.

Is the Aarke PET Water Bottle recyclable?

Yes. At the end of its lifetime you can unscrew the bottom metal part, remove the cap and recycle the components separately.

Is PET plastic safe to use for drinking water?

Yes. We only use food-grade, virgin PET. This means that our bottles are non-toxic, BPA-free and do not contain any harmful chemicals. Our bottles have also been tested and approved according to the German LFGB standard, California Prop 65 and FDA CFR 21.

Excellent quality, very happy with this product.

It's a stylish item to have on the work top and the process of making the water is noisy and exciting. The water is great. Bubbly. The machine is well made and easy to use and maintain. Refilling the gas cartridge is straightforward. On the other hand I found the process of registering for the guarantee time-consuming and unwieldy. The process was long-winded and involved uploading documents. I do not think this is necessary as simple emails show that you have purchased it and the company must have a record too. They should learn from John Lewis who send out a guarantee as soon as you have purchased an item.

This is such a great fizzy water maker! It has really come into its own over this hot summer, would highly recommend it. It is very stylish too, in your kitchen. A flat back to its base would have helped on the kitchen work surface so that it could go flat against the wall.
