I went for the large aarke as I knew I'll be using it more than I expected. And I was right. I use the filter more than I used previous filters. The clean lines and close to no plastic of the aarke add a pleasure element to just pouring a glass of water: A detail, but a nice feeling nevertheless.

I highly recommend this jug and the large size. I used other brand filter at work and was always unimpressed how quickly it became mouldy and that it was made of plastic. Additionally, water was mineral free which is important to me. When I discovered this one, it ticked all the boxes for me. I’ve been using it for nearly two months and I am pleased with how easy itvis to clean or service, how strong the glass is and how much more water I am drinking now. Large jug is not that big though, I think small would have been too small for me.
It’s been nearly two months since I swapped water purchased in plastic bottles to this purifier. I personally must drink mineral water to avoid depletion.
When I discovered Aarke plastic free filter and found that it offers mineralisation too, I was instantly convinced. For me, this jug combats all arguments against other water filters that I had- they also contain plastic, mould develops in them easily and the water isn’t mineral.
The jug is made of strong glass. All elements are easy to disinfect and clean, it lives in the fridge so the water is cold and protected from sunlight that may cause bacteria growth.
As to mineral kit- I tested non mineral bag that comes with the jug and soon could see the impact of calcium depletion and once moved onto mineral kit- all went back to normal. The water tastes great, you’d never tell it’s tap water. I am very happy with the purchase and highly recommend to my guests.
Looks good and works well. You just have to watch the lid, as sometimes water can spill from it when you're pouring.

I recently purchased the large purifier alongside the beautiful kettle in sand - both lovely products and certainly command the price tag in terms of style, usability and functionality. They sit side by side in my newly refurbished kitchen - love them and worth the money!

It's a beautifully made thing, like all your products. Really pleased with it and the quality of water it produces. Fabulous to get away from all that plastic. Adding this comment not because the company is at fault but because I should have taken more note of the reviews and just want to flag this up for others pondering which size model to go for. When this is full, it really is pretty heavy. Of course the upside to this is that my partner has to make all the drinks!
I bought the Aarke water purifier jug to replace the plastic Brita filter jug I had for many years which was very poorly designed and used plastic cartridges. The Aarke jug is very stylish IMO and made of glass and stainless steel with a refillable filter cartridge. We've used it for a month now and it's brilliant - solid, robust and stylish. Great product.

A great water filter. I live in a hard water area and this filter has made a real improvement to the quality of the water that I am drinking.
I’ve been using this water filter and its refill granules for a couple of years now, and I’m very happy with the quality. I especially like that it’s plastic-free and that you can simply pour the granules into the filter rather than having to buy pre-filled plastic cartridges. It’s a much more sustainable approach without compromising on performance.
Quite small compared to Brita so havevto fill up more regularly

Great design only detail I would change is that you have to refill it twice to get that 1 litre of water, and the lid should have bigger and handle tip so it’s easier to open it, especially when you press the lid firmly down then you have to use a bit of strength to open it up.
