Can all parts on the Aarke Coffee Grinder be cleaned in the dishwasher?

All removable coffee bean hopper, hopper lid, and coffee grounds cup are dishwasher safe. The burrs are cleaned with the included brush. Clean the burrs every three months or when changing bean types.

64 mm flat burrs in stainless steel refers to the size and type of the grinding mechanism in the Aarke Coffee Grinder. The 64 mm diameter ensures a consistent grind, while the flat shape allows for precise control over grind size. Our burrs are made from durable stainless steel to maintain sharpness for optimal flavour extraction.

What does the inner ring on the side knob "strength fine tuner" do, and how do I use it?

The strength fine tuner is a way for you to fine-tune the grind result to your personal preferences. If you prefer your coffee a bit stronger or weaker, use the Strength Fine Tuner to adjust the grinder to produce more or less coffee than the preset amounts. Turn the strength fine tuner to the right, towards the plus sign (“+”), to increase the coffee amount, or to the left, towards the minus sign (“-”), to decrease it.

How do I know what grind size to use?

The grind chart on the glass lid indicates the suitable range for your brewing method, and the recommended grind size range is also detailed in Table 1 in the User Manual. We suggest starting in the middle of the range for the beverage you plan to make and let your taste decide what size that suits you. As different coffee beans may require varying grind sizes for the same brewing method. If your coffee tastes too strong and bitter, change to a coarser grind size (a higher number on the dial). Conversely, if your coffee is too acidic, try a finer grind size (a lower number on the dial).

Is the Aarke Coffee Grinder good for grinding espresso?

The Aarke Coffee Grinder is specially designed and engineered for filter coffee, and we’ve invested a lot of time testing and developing it to be the perfect companion to our Aarke Coffee Maker. While you can use the grinder for various coffee beverages, it truly shines when making filter coffee. Combining a grinder that works well for both espresso and filter coffee is tricky because each method requires different grind sizes. Espresso needs a fine grind, while filter coffee benefits from a coarser grind, making it challenging to create a single product that excels at both. The Aarke Coffee Grinder is suitable for: Moka Pot, AeroPress, Pour Over, Siphon, Electric Coffee Brewing, Chemex, French Press, Cold Brew, and more. Not optimized for espresso.

Bin sehr zufrieden, ABER, der Bedienknopf rechts ist mangelhaft in der Anleitung beschrieben worden. Ihr schreibt hier, den Knopf dr:u00fc:cken, aber dr:u00fc:cken ist bei mir, reindr:u00fc:cken. Ich habe 4 Erwachsene Personen die Anleitung lesen lassen und dann sollten sie den Knopf bedienen, jeder dr:u00fc:ckte den Knopf seitlich zum Gerät hin und nicht nach unten.
Schreiben sie doch einfach, dr:u00fc:cken sie den seitlichen Hebel nach UNTEN.
