What sizes are the Aarke Purifiers available in?

The Aarke Purifier is 275 mm high and weighs 1100g. It can hold a volume of 2,4 liters and has a filter capacity of 1,18 liters. The Aarke Purifier Large is 250 mm high and weighs 1150 g. It can hold a volume of 2,84 liters and has a filter capacity of 1,66 liters.

Does the Aarke Purifiers fit in a standard fridge/kitchen?

The standard fridge and kitchen counter spaces vary significantly in different markets. With the lid on, the Aarke Purifier is 27.5 cm high and 17.1 cm wide. With the lid on, the Aarke Purifier Large is 25 cm high and 21 cm wide. Please measure your fridge space to check if it will fit inside. Please note, that since it has a round base, the Aarke Purifier will not likely fit into the narrow fridge door storage space.

Should the Aarke Purifiers be kept in a refrigerator?

The Aarke Purifier does not have to be refrigerated, but should be stored in a cool place and be kept out of direct sunlight. The filtered water is intended for short-term use, no longer than 24 hours inside the Purifier.

Can I use the Aarke Purifiers with other Filter Refills than the Aarke filter refill granules?

No. The Aarke Purifiers is designed and engineered for filtrating water with the Aarke Filter Refill granules only.

How do I use the filter-change indicator in the lid?

The filter-change indicator is built as a calendar with the numbers representing every start of a month and the dots in between representing two weeks from the start of the last month. Depending on your preference, you can either use the filter-change indicator to show when you last refilled the Purifier with new granules or to show when to change the filter granules next time. To use the filter-change indicator in the lid of the Purifier, follow these steps: 1. Add fresh filter granules to the Purifier cartridge. 2. You then have two options: If you want the indicator to show when you last changed your granules, set the pointer to the closest calendar mark. For example, if you change the filter granules at the start of January, set the pointer to “1”, representing the start of January. If you want the indicator to show when you should change your granules next, set the pointer to 4 weeks from when you refill the Purifier add the new granules. For example, if you change the filter granules in the start of January, set the pointer to “2”, representing the start of February.

Aarke has the best water filter system I’ve found - the filter granules make lovely clean-tasting water from London tap water (which doesn’t taste nice straight from the tap). It even beats bottled water for taste.

A beautiful and sturdy purifier. It looks good on the counter and is very simple to set up and use. The water tastes much nicer. There is a small plastic dial on the base of the lid which you can use to set a reminder for changing the granules. I have used it for a few months now and am very happy with the purchase.

Great item, delighted to have finally found a non plastic filter jug. You can really feel the design has been thought through, the suction lid is great and means spilling water over when pouring never happens, the pour is easy and it's easy to wash. Water does move through a bit slow, and it is heavier than a plastic jug when full so may not be as comfortable for some to lift with one hand. Quality of filtered water is great though and instantly noticed a different in limescale reduction in my kettle. Hoping it lasts!

The fact that the filter granules are replaceable was one the primary reasons we bought our Aarke water jug and filter system. The sachets of granules fully charge the stainless steel filter. Although I can't say anything that demonstrates how effectively the filter is working but the water definitely tastes better. Great product and I've nothing good to say about it.

I highly recommend this jug and the large size. I used other brand filter at work and was always unimpressed how quickly it became mouldy and that it was made of plastic. Additionally, water was mineral free which is important to me. When I discovered this one, it ticked all the boxes for me. I’ve been using it for nearly two months and I am pleased with how easy itvis to clean or service, how strong the glass is and how much more water I am drinking now. Large jug is not that big though, I think small would have been too small for me.

Looks good and works well. You just have to watch the lid, as sometimes water can spill from it when you're pouring.

Brilliant, far better than other purifiers.

I recently purchased the large purifier alongside the beautiful kettle in sand - both lovely products and certainly command the price tag in terms of style, usability and functionality. They sit side by side in my newly refurbished kitchen - love them and worth the money!
